My work often begins with fragments - small gestures, shapes, colours or moments that hold more meaning than they appear to at first glance. The Bigger Picture continues this exploration by placing these fragments directly into the hands of the public.
This project is about perspective: how the small, overlooked parts of our lives can shift what we understand when we step back and see them together. Lagos has its own rhythm and the bigger picture is never built alone.
By allowing the city, its people and its everyday movements to complete the work, this project becomes a conversation between painting, place and participation. It is an invitation to slow down, to notice and to recognise that clarity often arrives piece by piece.
